Nashville Zoo

A couple of weeks ago Kyle had a day off so we decided to head to the Nashville zoo, and Aubrey looooved it.  We had a great time seeing the animals and at first this was pretty much Aubrey's face looking at all the animals.  She was in total awe that the animals that she sees in her books were now in front of her.
Her two favorite animals right now seem to be elephants and fish.  She can spot an elephant in any book we read.  She makes a elephant sound and puts her hand as a trunk.  We were reading Goodnight Moon and she spotted a tiny elephant on a shelf, she's obsessed with elephants and was so excited to actually see one in person even if they were ridiculously far away.  Not as impressed with the Nashville zoo as I am with St. Louis's zoo.
Aubrey and Kyle then climbed into a tunnel and was able to see the meerkats up close.
Her second favorite animal seems to be fish. She makes a fish sound (which sounds like a kissing sound) any time she sees fish.  Loves to feed our neighbors fish, and again can point out a fish in any book.  She instantly ran up to the huge tank and yep ran right up to the pirahnas.  Her Daddy is quite proud that she likes fish considering fshing is his favorite thing to do.
Here's a video of her running through the fish tank tunnel.

The last spot was the petting zoo part and Aubrey surprisingly wasn't afraid to pet the goats. She thought they were so funny.

All in all it was a great day at the zoo.
